Responsible Contractor Ordinance

The Responsible Contractor Ordinance  requires all bidders receiving equalization credits under Section 17-5-12, page 20, shall be posted on the Civil Rights, Inclusion & Opportunity Department’s website. The goal of the ordinance is to ensure that contractors working on city projects are providing the best overall value to the community by considering the quality of workmanship, quality of materials, references, experience, proposed schedule, safety, time and cost.
