COVID-19 Response Fund
Thank you to the many grantors and donors who have supported Detroit's COVID-19 response and recovery so far. The City continues to deploy resources for response, and welcomes your support if you or your organization have the ability to donate money, goods or services towards recovery.
With your help, as of June 30, the City has been able to: serve over 672,000 meals, including piloting door-to-door delivery for individuals and families self-isolating or quarantining to mitigate the risk of spread; provide secure shelter for 845 individuals to self isolate; provide 1,250 $2 rides to testing for those without other transportation options; and, in partnership with United Way and others, distribute 1.8 million masks (1.2 million direct to the public via DDOT and the Detroit Police Department) to help residents protect themselves and others from further spread of the virus.
If you have already given to the city or to our partners at United Way of Southeastern Michigan, Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan, Techtown, Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, or others, we thank you!
