City Council appropriated funds for grants to block clubs and neighborhood associations; Neighborhood signs; and Community-driven expenditures divided equally into 9 tranches: 7 for projects located in each Council District and 2 for Citywide projects.

Programmed funds are committed to specified projects, including those that have bids upcoming or bids in process. In Development funds are designated for targeted purposes under Council Resolution, but not yet finalized.

The City of Detroit will receive $826.7 million from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and plans to create a variety of programs to improve the quality of life for Detroiters. That means that the Office of Contracting and Procurement will be looking for businesses that can provide a variety of goods and services. If you're a Detroit business owner, this may be your chance to do business with the City.
