Route Updates
REROUTE ALERTS:
Beginning Tuesday, January 21 through Friday, April 11, Beaubien between Larned and Jefferson will be closed for utility work. Reroute is as follows:
3-Grand River Eastbound: From Larned, to left on Beaubien, to right on Lafayette, to right on I-375 service drive, to right on Jefferson, to lay over on Jefferson between the highway and the law school.
3-Grand River Westbound: No detours.
9-Jefferson Eastbound: From Larned, to left on Beaubien, to right on Lafayette, to right on I-375 service drive, to left on Jefferson, to continue as normal.
9-Jefferson Westbound: No detours.
Effective through Friday, April 11, Larned between St. Antoine and the I-375 service drive will be closed for utility work. Reroute is as follows:
67-Cadillac-Harper Eastbound: From Larned, to left on Beaubien, to right on Lafayette, to right on the I-375 service drive, to left on Larned, to continue as normal.
The Miller Road bridge will be closed until further notice. Reroutes are as follows:
1-Vernor Westbound: Right on Ferney, to right on Wyoming, to left on Michigan Ave., to continue as normal.
1-Vernor Eastbound: From Michigan Ave., to right on Wyoming, to continue as normal.
There is a minor detour at Jefferson and Livernois:
30-Livernois Northbound: From Jefferson, to a left on Green, to a right on Fort, to a left on Livernois, to continue as normal.
30-Livernois Southbound: From Livernois, to a right on Fort, to a left on Green, to a right on Jefferson, to continue as normal.
7-Seven Mile Westbound can no longer make a left turn from Lahser onto Grand River. Reroute is as follows:
Westbound: From Lahser, to left on McNichols, to right on Grand River, to continue into Meijer parking lot.
Eastbound: No detours.
11-Clairmount now has a slight detour near Woodward. Reroute is as follows:
11-Clairmount Westbound: From Owen, to left on John R, to right on Holbrook, to right on Woodward, to left on Clairmount, to continue as normal.
11-Clairmount Eastbound: From Clairmount, to left on Woodward, to right on Leicester, to right on John R, to left on Owen, to continue as normal.
23-Hamilton now has a slight detour at John R:
Northbound: From McNichols, to left on Woodward, to right on Seven Mile, to left on John R, to continue as normal.
Southbound: From John R, to right on Seven Mile, to right on Woodward, to a Michigan left at the first turnaround, to continue on McNichols.
Update for 18-Fenkell: Riders will board and alight within the reroute zone when it is safe to do so.
Westbound: From Fenkell, to right on Lahser, to left on McNichols, to a Michigan left on Telegraph, to continue on Fenkell.
Eastbound: From Fenkell, to right on Telegraph, to right on McNichols, to right on Lahser, to continue on Fenkell.
52-Chene no longer uses Orleans between Lafayette and Chestnut. Reroute is as follows:
Southbound: From Lafayette, to right on St. Aubin, to left at the second turnaround past Chestnut to head south on St. Aubin, to right on Chestnut, to continue as normal.
Northbound: No detours.
Although Cass Ave. over I-94 is open, road work continues on Cass.
Reroutes for 16-Dexter are still in effect.
There is a minor detour on 38-Plymouth in the area of Elmhurst and Dexter. Reroute is as follows:
Eastbound: Right on Holmur, to left on Burlingame, to right on Dexter, to left on Lawrence, to left on Wildermere, to right on Elmhurst, to continue as normal.
Westbound: Left on Dexter, to right on Burlingame, to right on Holmur, to left on Elmhurst, to continue as normal.
There is a reroute in place around Belle Isle:
12-Conant Southbound: From the MacArthur Bridge, to left on Casino Way, to Central Way, to right on Picnic Way, to left on Loiter Way, to straight to the stop on Conservatory Drive, to lay over at the temporary stop.
12-Conant Northbound: From the turnaround on Conservatory Drive, to left on Loiter Way, to right on Picnic Way, to left on Riverbank Drive, to the MacArthur Bridge, to continue as normal.
Rosa Parks Transit Center is closed every night between midnight and 4 a.m. for cleaning. RPTC will re-open at 4 a.m. daily for normal transit operations.

Westbound Northland Drive is closed. Reroutes are as follows (updated 4/16):
10-Greenfield Northbound: From Greenfield, to left on the Lodge Service Drive, to drop off and pick up at bus stop on Lodge Service Drive just past Northland Drive, to continue on Lodge Service Drive, to a right on North Park Drive, to left on Providence Drive, to a right on Nine Mile, to continue as normal.
10-Greenfield Southbound: No detours.
16-Dexter Northbound: From Greenfield, to left on the Lodge Service Drive, to drop off at bus stop on Lodge Service Drive just past Northland Drive, to continue on Lodge Service Drive, to a left on J.L. Hudson Drive, to right on Eight Mile, to right on Northland Drive, to continue as normal.
16-Dexter Southbound: No detours.
17-Eight Mile Westbound: From Eight Mile, to right on Lodge Service Drive, to drop off at bus stop on Lodge Service Drive just past Northland Drive, to continue on Lodge Service Drive, to left on J.L. Hudson Drive, to left on Lodge Service Drive, to continue as normal.
17-Eight Mile Eastbound: No detours.
