Before and After
Farwell Building
Commercial/retail businesses were originally located within stories 1-4, while the building's upper stories were dedicated to office space. The building underwent an extensive renovation in 1956, to include the removal of the elaborate terra cotta cornice and the renovation of it's first story storefronts. Despite renovation and a fire, the building retains much of its original lobby, which was designed and execute by Tiffany Studios of New York.
